Perth mourn a club favourite

The club was informed on Wednesday 25 January 2012 of the sad passing of a club favourite Bernie Hughes.

Bernie has given decades of his time to the Perth Football Club in various ways including serving as the Vice President of the Past Players and Officials Association for many years and serving on the Centurion Fund committee from its inception in 2002 until 2011 when he had to step down due to illness.

Bernie's contribution to the Perth Football Club has been immense and he will be sorely missed. Our deepest sympathy goes to his wife Lois and their family.

At this stage we have been advised that the funeral will be held on Tuesday, 31 January 2012, however at this stage we are unable to confirm the time or location.
