Perth have recorded their first win since April and broken an 11 game losing streak when they held on to defeat East Fremantle by 19-points.

Brennan Stack was pivotal up front for the Demons kicking four goals while Brock O’Brien kicked five for the Sharks.

Liam McKenna starred in the midfield for Perth with 32 possessions, 7 marks, 5 tackles, 5 I50’s and 2 goals while Aidan Tropiano (31 disposals, 9 marks, 4 tackles), Jarryd Morton (31 possessions, 10 marks, 4 tackles) and Jared Bell (23 disposals, 6 marks, 1 goal) were also pivotal in the 13.10 (88) to 10.9 (69) victory.

Stack and O’Brien each kicked two goals in the first quarter as the teams went in level pegged at the first break.

East Fremantle kicked the first two goals of the second quarter through O’Brien before the Demons hit back with goals to Bell, Michael Sinclair and McKenna.  This had Perth in front by six points at half time.

Both sides traded blows in the third quarter, each kicking two goals as the Demons went into the last quarter eight points ahead.

The Sharks came out firing at the start of the last quarter kicking the first two goals through Liam Anthony and Rory O’Brien.  Perth steadied though kicking five of the next six goals and when the final siren went the Demons players and supporters were ecstatic.
