Buoyant from their first win last week from 18 games, Perth will be looking to continue the momentum when they take on East Perth on ANZAC Day.

The Demons were down by as much as 28-points late in the second quarter against the Tigers but rallied in the second half to record a 9-point victory.

Liam McKenna (34 possessions, 11 marks) was one of the best players on the ground while other contributors were Aidan Tropiano (25 disposals, 15 clearances, 8 tackles), Dene White (25 possessions, 10 marks), Jared Bell (23 disposals, 7 tackles), Jacob Payne (22 possessions, 7 marks) and Brett Wolfenden (21 disposals, 6 marks, 7 I50’s, 3 goals).

Last week the Royals went down by 23-points against Peel Thunder.  Brant Colledge (38 possessions, 13 marks, 7 I50’s, 2 goals), Brendan Lee (28 disposals, 8 marks, 1 goal), Callum Hart (26 possessions, 8 marks), Steven Payne (25 disposals, 7 marks) and Alec Waterman (23 possessions, 5 marks, 5 tackles, 6 I50’s) were all impressive and the Demons will need to nullify their ability to influence the game.

Perth (reserves) last week went down by 2-points in a nail bitting game against Claremont (reserves).

Joel Kalajzic (25 disposals, 5 marks, 3 I50’s), Kieran Hug (23 possessions, 4 tackles, 5 I50’s, 2 goals) and Ashley Boyes (21 disposals, 5 marks, 5 I50’s, 2 goals) stood out and could come under consideration for league selection this week.

East Perth (reserves) won by 36-points against Peel (reserves) last week and Thomas Shanahan (34 possessions, 11 marks, 3 tackles, 6 I50’s, 4 goals) and Mark Hutchings (23 disposals, 4 tackles, 8 I50’s, 1 goal) are players that could play league this week for the Royals.

Perth (colts) were in control against Claremont (colts) last week for majority of the game but the Tigers kicked four unanswered goals in the final quarter to get up 7-points.

Kayle Phillips (25 possessions, 5 marks) continued his good start to the season while Zac Fisher (22 disposals) and Corey Byrne (21 possessions, 3 marks, 5 tackles, 3 I50’s, 1 goal) were also solid contributors.
