PREVIEW: Round 17 v East Fremantle
The Demons will be looking for redemption this Saturday when they head to East Fremantle Oval to take on the Sharks.
Last time the two teams met, Perth were 23 points up at half time before capitulating in the second half and giving East Fremantle their first win of 2017.
Perth have a lot to play for, as a win will put the Demons two games clear of the 9th placed Sharks and produce a handy buffer leading towards the end of the season.
Having been ravaged by injury over the last few weeks, the Demons will look to welcome back a host of key players into this week's lineup.
Brant Colledge and Clayton Giblett will both be put through a fitness test but are expected to play after suffering minor hamstring injuries.
Devin McFarlane will also await a medical consultation as to whether he is fit to play after fracturing a cheekbone two weeks ago.
After a tough loss against Subiaco, coach Earl Spalding will be looking to make changes to ensure the effort is brought Saturday.
Nelson Ansey has strung together a number of quality games in the development side over the last few weeks and will seriously be considered for Saturday.
Liam Mckenna, Taran Etto, Kurtis Chester and Jake Schleicher are all experienced midfielders who are also knocking on the door to be reselected in the top side.
Andrew Panetta and his development side will be looking to bounce back this week and solidify their finals aspirations. They currently sit 4th and will play an East Fremantle side sitting 5th.
Andrew Ruck's colts will welcome back Bobby Hill from the State 18's and will be looking to emulate their feat from round 13 and knock off the 1st placed Sharks.
